It's great to see people still putting in work on these cars.

Looking good!! I am a fan of racing stripes and I’d like to see a front & rear angle of this car.

Yes sir!! I am by no means finished developing this car. There is room for improvement.

Sicker with stickers, impressive runs, you were hauling! Car sounds great, looks like it's pretty well sorted.

Thank you! I’m still working the bugs out but she’s overall pretty well sorted. Just needs some fine tuning.

Because tires are so important for corner grip, and I run an SN95 platform as a track day car, I'm curious about the flared Carbon fiber fenders listed as exterior mods. Are those full replacement front fenders? If so how much tire can you use with those fenders? I've got an IRS in the rear, so offset is different than with a stick axle, but there really isn't room for much over a 275 in the front with stock fenders. If those are full replacement front fenders, where might someone acquire a set?

A second question, how is the Eaton Truetrac working out for you? I know some track folks like the Torsen, but the Truetrac seems like a more robust solution, and they are well reviewed.

These are actually exact replicas of the fenders on John Griggs’ Laser Red Cobra. They are full replacement fenders, designed to fit 315’s on 18x11’s comfortably. I have forward offset control arms so I’ll need to trim some more before I make that leap.

They’re not perfect as the original mold had some flaws so the passenger side looks kinda wonky around the lower body lines. They’re expensive!!! If you’re interested you must contact Steve Libby on Instagram @ _slib

The Eaton seems to work very well. The rear is
very well poised in tight sweepers on throttle. I always seem to give up before the car does. It makes lots of “clunk and whiny race car noises” too.

Thank you for the thorough reply, there isn't much available in the way of flared front fenders for the SN95s that I've come across. With only 4 years production of that particular body style, it's certainly not been favored with aftermarket support similar to the Fox platform.

I don't have the forward offset control arms, so with the three quarter inch offset MM K-member, my car has the wheels in what looks to me like perfect center of the wheel openings. If I was hard core, of course I would have opted for the full 1-1/2" forward offset with a 1" engine setback, but I was never willing to make the commitment to full "racecar" status. And yet with a solid roller, 12:1 363, it's not really suited to daily driver usage any more, but it wouldn't take a lot to make it so.

Absolutely. I’m a certified SN95 nut and I’m always willing to help another out

Your engine combo sounds like a lot of fun. There was a time when I was a staunch pushrod guy but I slowly turned to the “overhead cam dark side”.

After exposing its weakness, I’ve decided to pull the Volvo electric power steering pump setup out. I’m going to replace it with an aftermarket hydraulic pump from KRC Power Steering. The Volvo setup, in its current form without CANBUS control, is just fine for street duty and light open track work. Finally put it to a real torture test on a tight Autocross course and there isn’t enough line pressure to keep up with simultaneous hard braking AND back & forth steering conditions. The previous events were at a much larger venue and the courses were fast & wide.

Work called me out so here it sits until I can finish up. I’m also waiting on a Derale cooler.

That KRC pump is a work of art! I'm curious how that pulley is mounted on the pump? I keep looking at the Jones pump for a stock Windsor replacement, but It would just be for aesthetic purposes, the stock system with a large ccoling solution works perfectly.

Having been a sheet metal worker in a former life, I fabbed custom transitions from GT fog light openings to 3" round. It's been long enough now that I don't remember with certainty where I got the spindle mount cooling brackets, but I think they were from Agent 47. I think I still have the patterns for the transitions out in the garage if someone were to want to make a pair of GT air intakes.
