I am finally installing my Mondo on my 347 motor. But the 72T cog crank pulley seems to be to short. The looks like there needs to be a 1 1/2 in space between the balancer and the accessory ribs on the pulley. But the ribs are close to the balancer. Does Vortech not expect Mondo cars to have water pumps? Should I just buy an electric pump and move the alternator in? Thanks for any help

That pulley usually won't fit electric water pumps, at least it didn't with my CSI pump anyway. i think the newer Mezziere pumps are moved up a little and provide extra clearance.

Anyway, it sounds like you are missing the aluminum spacer for your balancer. SFI balancers come with a spacer that spaces the pulley out so the balance will work with later model serpentine setups. Without this spacer the pulley isn't going to line up.

E-mail me if you have any other questions.
