Hello all, looking for a little bit of guidance here. I have a misfire/bog and slight popping/gurgling(minimal) out of the exhaust on 3/4 - WOT pulls on the car.
This has started up recently with no change in modifications having caused it. Car is typical FBO apart from a stock throttle body.
Full Exhaust, BBK headers, Prochamber
SR CAI
ProM 75mm MAF /w screen
Brand new Motorcraft Coil
FRPP Plug wires(3k miles, but i have heard and read these are poor quality these days)
Fairly new cap/rotor
Fresh autolite plugs, switched from NGK plugs attempting to fix the issue.
OEM motorcraft dizzy
Kirban AFPR
Some important information i would like to provide is that the car will actually pull to redline without misfiring if throttle is steady and below 3/4. It is only if i floor it i get the mis / "bog" i was describing. Does this sound more like a fuel issue than ignition because of this? I do have a fuel pressure gauge on the rail. 40psi with vacuum off @ idle. I can't see fuel pressure while driving though and under load. I do have a Walbro 255lph laying around that i plan on putting into soon.
Thanks in advance
Dave
