I have a set of the older TFS Twisted Wedge heads that have the bigger 64cc chambers. I want to mill them down to 56cc's to get my compression ratio close to 11:1. A compression calculator online http://www.dunegoon.org/compression.html told me 56cc will get me to about 10.7:1 and 54cc will get me 11.01:1, but I don't want to take them down to 54.
Question is, how much needs to be shaved off the heads to achieve the desired cc?
The block has not been zero decked, but I'm considering that as well. Its a 4.040 349ci motor and I'm planning to clean up the heads a bit while they're off.
