In the July issue of 5.0 Mustang they say the Mach 1 suspension lowers the car 1 1/2" compared to the GT. This is the first I have heard of this. Does anybody know if this is true? All the pictures I have seen show the car to have the stock 4" lift kit on it.

Well the Bullitt suspension had I believe a 1"drop, so I wouldnt be surprised that they lower the Mach 1 alittle more.

Nope...

the Bullit has a .75 Inch Drop...

and the Mach 1 has a .50 inch drop...

They first tried the direct Bullit suspension on the Mach 1... and it didn't handle as well... which necessitated the .25" raise in suspension geometry.

So Just for a quick summary...

'01 GT = Stock Ride Hidth
'01 Cobra = .25" lower than GT
'03 Mach 1 = .50" lower than GT
'01 Bullit = .75" lower than GT
'03 Cobra = ??? Atleast .75... I think it could be 1" to 1.25" lower than an '01 GT.

Peace
