When I checked my plugs, number 4 showed detonation and number 3 shows lean, the other 6 look great. Replaced both injectors and new wires and cap and rotor. Still doing it. This is on a 1200 mile engine, bored .030 ,JE pistons, crank turned 10-10,new timing chain, stock heads milled .050, 3 angle, new springs, seals. stock cam with 1.7s. Shouldnt I be able to get more timing than that and what else could be causing the problem? I dont hear any pinging, sounds more like a miss or studder that you can hear and feel. Any suggestions? Thanks

I also checked for a vacuum leak but couldnt find one. I set the timing where it would get the highest vacuum reading and then sprayed starting fluid in the area and on all hoses.. Highest vacuum reading I could get was 16psi. This sound right?
