Took my new used:D 2000 Lightning to the track for the first time tonight. 100% Stock, tires, even the ford air filter. In Fairness it does have a 2 inch diameter hole in the airbox bottom. I doubt it makes a huge difference. How does this rank for the slower 99-00s lightnings? It was over 80 degrees and it rained a few hours earlier.

I bet you had fun. It seems slow to me for a s/c truck but I dont have one. I am not sure what they run stock. Good luck!

Looks about identical to what my '00 GT ran when I had a K&N, no mufflers (with pipe welded in place of them), a Tri-Ax, and Eibach Pro-Kit springs. So, looks about like what a fairly stock '99+ GT would run in the 1/8th, but I'm sure it would lead a similar GT (like mine was) through the 1/4th.
