I went 11s not on slicks or dr but street tires with a treadwear rating of 360.. combo in sig.

Engine: S-Trim 10#'s, Powerpipe, B50 Sportsman block, 331 stroker kit, 4340 forged crank, 4340 H-Beam rods, Diamond forged dished pistons (9:1:0 comp), Moly file fit rings, Canton main girdle, Canton windage tray, Canton 7 qt oil pan, ARP studs throughout, stock Edelbrock 6037's, TFS Stage II cam, FMS 1.6 RR's, Holley System Max intake, BBK 65mm TB, Kirbin AFPR, 42lb injectors, Pro-M 80mm mass air meter, GSS340 intank pump, Walbro 392 inline pump, Fluidyne radiator.

Exhaust: BBK ceramic headers, Off-road X-pipe, Hooker Ultra Flow 2 1/2 catback.

Powertrain: Tremac TKO, RAM 900 series Clutch Kit, RAM Billet Steel Flywheel, Aluminum quadrant & adjustable clutch cable, Steeda Tri-Ax shifter, FMS Aluminum Driveshaft, Driveshaft safety loop, FMS 3.73 gears.

Suspension: Eibach progressive springs, KYB AGX adjustable struts & shocks, HAL K-Member, Mac rack bushings, Hotchkis caster/camber plates, Megabite Jr's lower control arms, Welded subframe connectors, Cobra 13" front brakes, '98 Cobra R Rims, Nitto Drag Radials.


Electronics: Fordchips tune/chip, MSD6A, MSD Billet Distriburator, MSD Coil, 9mm FMS Wires, Autometer Phantom temp-oil-boost-a/f gauges, MSD shiftlight, battery moved to the trunk.

My old engine set-up went 11.37 @ 125.05 on BFG drag radials. Stock shortblock, Crower 15510 cam, Edelbrock 6037's/RPM intake and the S-trim @ 12psi. Pretty simple stuff and it flew. The next pass it hooked better and 330' numbers were better but I hung up the 4th shift, over-revved it and popped the headgaskets while bending 7 exhaust valves. OOPS!:D

It got fixed, AFM B3 cam and bigger injectors and ran 12.0 @ 122 on my street tires (non-DR's) the next spring. Eventually ran a 10.76 @ 126.24 on a slick.

Since then it's been nothing but slicks and a new engine. I do have soem monster 325 BFG's waiting to go on though.:evil:

[email protected] - 306, 185's, Comp blower cam, Gt-40 intake, ported lower, 65mm TB, A-trim 10lbs, C-4 with 3500 stall and 1 3/4 longtubes.

Upgraded to the S-trim and at 13lbs went [email protected]
All runs were on 275/60 DR's

Looking for 9's on DR's with the new combo:D

My buddy Brandon's last Mustang was an 88 Coupe:

He ran 11.97 on 93 octane but I forgot at what speed :mad:

- DSS Bullet 306 Short block
- TFS Twisted Wedge Heads
- TFS Low Compression Pistons
- Vortech A-trim (8 PSI)
- FRPP 30lbs. Injectors W/ Vortech FMU
- Walbro 255lph pump
- Ported GT40 intake (Lower was matched, Upper inlet tube was
cut and re-welded closed)
- FRPP F303 Cam
- FRPP 1.6 Rockers
- Koni Yellows all around :evil:
- FRPP Aluminum DS
- Tremec 3550 Tranny
- FRPP 3.73's
- Pony's wrapped in BFG DR's

I don't think he had much more than that. He has also been racing for years so he knows how to launch pretty well.

I haven't run my new combo yet, but it's very similar to TT_Vert's old combo that went [email protected] in a lighter car :)

Combo and everything's on my website in the sig.

11.6 @ 126.5 with 2.1 60ft.
GT-40 intake, TW heads, F cam, 42lb, 80mm MAF, 70mm TB, equal length shorty headers, h pipe, flowmasters, MSD, S-trim and Powerpipe, Tremec, 3.73's. This was done on my last pass of the season and the only 4th run of mine on drag radials, hence the poor 60ft because I wasn't use to launching on drag radials.

Ya need ta ditch that blower, and drive 3 miles down tha road to compucar. That's all I am gonna say. 12 oh's on 265 futuras on 125 wid 600psi of bottle pressure, one bent push rod, and a bad intake gasket. YOU know tha combo that was in my slow blue coupe. :D

how could i forget its my motor and trans .tell me iam not a good bud .i let you hold everything .but the wife. you put more miles on the tremec then me .:D
