A while back i changed the radiator on my 95 gt because it was leaking at the aluminum/plastic side caps. I put in a fluidyne unit, replaced all the hoses but reused the stock hose clamps. It was doing fine for a while but is now leaking around the upper hose inlet, also the temp surges as if there is air in the system (i ran it out fine when i originally replaced the radiator). I think maybe i need a new cap.

Should i not have reused the hose clamps? Also, i hate those things, they are a pain to get on and off. Can I get some worm-gear style clamps to replace them? If so, any special thing to ask for?

THanks for any thoughts and suggestions.

I would go ahead and swap-out for the worm style, those OEM spring clamps can be a pain to get off and back on without side flexing them.
