I am thinking of swapping a 408 into my 1992 Mustang. I was thinking of a Keith Craft Stroker of Stroker Plus engine and I have a few questions.

1.) Should I pay $300 more for the Stroker Plus shortblock? The only difference between it and the Stroker kit seems to be JE/Venolia pistons instead of SRP pistons.

2.) Do I get to choose compression ratio and camshaft, or not?

3.) Is the SVO block they use a strong one?

4.) Can I expect 100k miles out of it considering I take it easy while driving and given that I choose a compression ratio no higher than 10:1.

5.) Is it possible that it will retain streetability and be smog legal?
