I have a 88' 5.0 that's been bored .30 over, forged internals, Edelbrock Performer aluminum heads, Crane Cams, Crane RR, 75 mm TB, etc, etc.

I was wondering what additional parts I'd need(if any) to run the KB 2.1 Blowzilla, I'm new the Forced Induction, so any advice would help, I'm guessing I'll probably need upgraded fuel system, but only looking to run 6 or so pounds of boost for it is just my daily driver, so doesn't need to be anything extreme. I know there are probably better, more efficient paths to go, but who doesn't love the scream of a twin screw?

A bigger fuel pump, I would look for the newer turbine style pumps usually listed as 320 or 340lph pumps. Lots of different brandings on them but they are likely all made by Walbro in the end. The rest of the fuel system should be fine up to 550 hp level. I would hope your 2.1 has a bypass it really helps on the street keeping temps down. If not keep it below 8psi. Lots to learn and the search button is your friend here many kb threads to read

Thanks for the info. I haven't ordered the KB yet, do you know what the best place to order it with the bypass would be from? I don't mind paying slightly more if the service is good and the shipping doesn't make me die with suspense of when I'll ever get it haha.

I've always bought from Kenne Bell, they control pricing and don't have many vendors selling there kits. The pricing is controlled by KB as well so you won't get a better price elsewhere in fact I think in the end all warranty issue would have to go with KB. I have had luck buying from KB and have always got upgrades for free by asking and being creative with the purchase. I have gotten both times complete full polished upgrades for free. Don't skimp on the Flowzilla with bypass upgrade.

The Blowzilla/Flowzilla can easily run up to 10psi in your daily driver without heating the IATs too much requiring water/meth injection. I would also suggest a 90mm TB as it allows the blower to ingest air more easily and creates an add'l 1-2psi of boost without spinning the blower any faster.
