At idle it's 30psi, and when I step on it, the guage spikes to about 38psi and looses about 2 psi above 5000rpm. My engine combo is in my sig. Will I gain much power by increasing FP to say 40? The car seems to pull good down low but not like it should at high rpms, especially in 3rd and 4th gear. Any input would be great.
Thanks

The fuel pressure is vacuum regulated. As you lose vacuum (at higher rpms) the fuel pressure increases. You need to set it with the vacuum line removed - if it's adjustable. Like the previous poster said, you could be losing pressure at higher rpms because the fuel pump isn't keeping up with the demand.
Call Dave at JDs and have him set you up with a Walbro 190 and you won't have to worry about the fuel pump (unless you plan to add NOx or a blower).
