Hello, I recently purchased a new autotemp gauge because the stock one is bad, and with my heater core bypassed the car runs 180-195 (i have a 180 stat) , when i connect my heater core up my car runs 200-210 , i think there is a blockage in my heater core? but is 200-210 ok , i really need heat because it's cold in NC.
Is that temp ok until i can replace the heater core. I dont even know why my car runs that hot with the heater core bypassed i have a Ford motorsport aluminum two core radiator and a flow cooler water pump, and i reacently just did a gead gasket job??

Stock the car runs 195-200. 210 is no big deal. So long as it stays at 210 you're fine.

Saturns run at 215-220!
