Sorry, I did a search but I couldn't find the answer. In all the ads selling T5's they all say "except 94-95" Is there something different about it or what? If it is different will standard T5 internals fit? I need a new/used one due to a broken tooth in reverse, not that it reallt affects anything but it makes a loud clicking sound when you back up and I'm going to be selling ti soon so I don't want that noise. Thanks!

The input shaft is longer on the 94/95. Internals are the same though.

You can use a 86-93 T5 as long as you get the shift fork, bellhousing and a drive shaft spacer.

Could I just put the 94/95 input shaft into an 86-93 trans instead?

The 94-95 trans is considered a World Class Cobra Upgrade. It has a 5/8" longer input shaft. In 94 when the body style changed Ford had to compensate for it somehow so they changed the Bell HGousing and the Input shaft on the trans.
