You bitches have cursed me with all your damn COVID talk. Just got an email at work from a company we deal with, informing me I was in close contact with one of their employees yesterday that tested positive for COVID. I was with him inside a jobsite trailer for 40 minutes yesterday.

We took wifes car to get oil change and service at dealer Saturday. But back in October we stopped by because a overhead compartment fell from its mount. We could tell someone tried gluing the clasp. Since car was CPO this should of been caught. In October they ordered the new part. To install last Saturday, with shipping issues I wanted to confirm it was there. They had no records of it.
Service writer excuse "it's from Germany, so expect shipping delays"
My response its built in Alabama, but maybe parts come from Germany. Ok whatever
While it is there I walk the lot and in used cars tucked behind a vw SUV was a GT350 with 4 flat tires. Poor thing

If I ever have that kind of money, I'm going with a '13-'14 GT500, Ingot Silver Metallic, Glass Roof, fully optioned minus NAV if possible. Very few productions numbers though

I went to a classic car dealer and they have a SSP fox restored, has all the trooper gear. It was serviced at same ford dealer it whole life, even in private ownership. The state owned it till 180k miles, then the assigned state trooper owned it personally till 200k miles, repainted wit light resto at 210k. It's a Georgia state trooper. It was interesting right up to the price $24k.
But I did like the all original 58k mile 70 malibu.

Steve - that is good. So far so good.
The games were crazy. I love all of the conspiracy comments and posts about the NFL being scripted it. So what if it is. It is just entertainment and if you feel entertained then they have accomplished their goals.

Good morning all.
My covid symptoms were worse than a cold, but not as bad as the flu. The worst part is how long it's dragging on.
One of my co-workers was the victim of an attempted mugging in our garage. Luckily he had a knife on him and the mugger ran off. There was a time when you would not worry about stuff like that in Indy. I'm glad I decided to start carrying into the office. I've also told everyone in the office that I will escort anyone who is concerned to their car. Some of the ladies here are really shook up by what happened.
So Alec's Ecoboost mustang is losing coolant, but I don't see any obvious signs of leakage. I bought the kit that you use to check for exhaust fumes in the radiator and it was negative, so I'm hoping it's not a blown head gasket, but apparently that's a common problem with the ecoboost mustangs after they get some miles on them and his has 80k miles.

Geez Brian, one shouldn't have to worry about walking to their car to go home for the night. Scary and depressing at the same time. I'm so glad my wife doesnt work downtown. Indy used to be the small city with big city amenities, now it's turning into a small city with typical big city problems. Sad to see the decline. Stay vigilant my friend.
Garage is painted. I'm happy with it. Cant wait to get the slatwall and cabinets in (prolly another 6 weeks wait - ugh).
Now getting to ready to install roughly 90,000 lumens of super bright 6500K LED lighting. Hopefully I dont burn my retinas out when I flip the switch.

Brian - that is crazy that things have gotten that bad, even in your own parking garage. Makes me appreciate not living or working in downtown a little more.
Steve - you are telling me you could not splurge for another 10,000 lumens to get an easy 100k of lumens?
Gage has his basketball championship game tonight. His team is undefeated, but that does not mean everything. We had been killing everyone, until the semifinal game where we came away with the 22-16 win. The team we are playing only has one loss all year, and that was to us 33-8 so they will be out for revenge.

STev-0 I'm just surprised that you have installed a rotating platform in that garage yet ala the batmobile/batcave.
So the shop I took Alec's mustang to says that they think there is a hole in the block, and that's where the coolant is leaking. He said it's in a location that can't be seen without pulling the motor, but they did pull a motor mount and tried to figure it out the best they could without pulling the engine. He's certain that is the problem as there are no other leaks and no head gasket problems and he doesn't think it's a freeze plug. So I guess I might pull the engine and see if the hole can be welded. Or Alec may need to buy a new engine.

It's not that I couldnt splurge and get an even 100K lumens, it's the layout of the light fixtures didnt work out. Ya, I am that obsessed - even the light fixture layout was purposefully designed and thought out. Layout probably wont matter in the end, cause if you look up when the lights are on to compliment me on the layout, it'll be the last thing you'll ever see.

If I had a fancy heated, gazillion light garage like Stev-0, maybe, but not sure I can get motivated to do this in the winter.
