It came with BOTH. Even a couple sets of valve covers. The gent who had the engine bought the car , 66 Mustang GT, the parts, and the tools in the garage from the widow for $20k. He decided to take a more stock approach with the car so he sold me the engine and parts for $9k. He owns a Mustang shop in California. Mostly Mustangs, in Oakland and been in business since 76. I talked to him on the phone before the purchase at his suggestion. Nice, straight forward guy. Not worried about the flags. He was very upfront and trustworthy and I paid for it not only through Paypal but also with my Citi credit card. I was an engine and lead aerospace machinist for 25 years for Federal Mogul and Honeywell. Not gonna bs me. I have since retired from machining and haul fuel now for Marathon. Not worried what so ever.

What are they, because to this novice that is one nice motor. Thing looks huge for a 302. Glad to see that we have a guy that walks the talk' or is it talks the walk.
It's a 302 stroked to a 363. I was going to buy a Ford Performance 363 for $12k without any of the accessories, intake, injection, etc so this is a huge savings. Probably $6k.

You appear to be more than qualified to make sure everything was assembled correctly, and that you receive everything you paid for. I initially thought that heads might be chinese copies of Dart heads, because all the heads I had seen in person had the engraving of the dart logo on the ends. But now I see that isn't the case. I also didn't like the rocker selection on such a high dollar build, but I'm that probably isn't an issue either. Hopefully that engine ends up being a strong runner and I look forward to see the progression of your build.

Oh. Yeah he said true roller rockers are also included new in box. Possibly a builder built this engine & the owner bought new rockers to replace them before he died. The guy I bought the engine from picked all this stuff in the deceased garage & said it was not equipped to build this, so he believes it was built by a shop. I'll update when it gets here in a couple weeks. I told him no rush cuz I'm installing a lift in my garage this coming week.
