OK if anyone could help me out it would be appreciated. My car idles high (about 1600 rpm) when I pull up to a stop light, sign, etc. After sitting a few seconds it begins to slowly drop the idle down where it should be. Has anyone had this issue? Is this a vacuum issue or TPS? My car has very few mods as of yet. Nothing that I think would effect this. Equal flow headers, air box silencer removed, 3.73 gears, flowmasters and h pipe. That's about it. Thanks for any help.

I would first get the idle down to an acceptable level using the corrals tech section- setting base idle procedures. (unless you like to idle that high)

The rpm drop is common for 5 speed vehicles and that's caused by the VSS ( vehicle speed sensor) that actual helps keep the idle a little high when the car is coming down in speed ( stop light...etc). I assume that you have a 5-speed because that is the major of complaints for a lot of corraler's in that it idles too high until you depress the clutch again.

Hope this helps.
