Ok, so I got a 5.0 in my truck, not the stang, and it's a Ford remanufactured motor, I've put maybe 6,000 miles one it so far...but it idles wrong. It only does this on occassion, maybe 2 or 3 times if I drive for an hour or so. It drops the rpm's from about 750 (the normal idle for my truck) to about 100, and back up to 750. It is really annoying, and I don't know why it does it, what could it be?

Check the IAC motor out. you can take it off and clean it because if the valves inside are sticking and it i snot responding fast enough it is going to choke the motor for air shortly before it can open up.
