I bought an Autometer 2 5/8" boost/vacuum gauge for my car that I am installing in a gauge cage. I understand the directions, but I don't know where to plug the fitting into my engine. I would have thought they would give me a t-fitting to install in my vacuum line, but instead they gave me a fitting that looks like it fits in my intake. I don't see anywhere to plug it in though.

Anybody know?

Thanks, Brad.

You run the line to your vacume-tree on the firewall. Inside the engine
compartment, drivers-side. You should have a extra port that says VAC
believe it or not. I used a rubber connector from a car in the bone-yard.

Another option is to get a hose barb fitting from hardware store and run regular vacuum hose out to the vacuum tree. Won't have to worry about the plastic hose kinking then.
