I bought a six piece replacement headlight set and I am about to install it. Installation seems simple but I am sort of unsure how to adjust alignment/level of the headlights. Is it hard and are there any tips to do this?
How are they now? If the current aim is OK, then just remove the adjusters from the back of each housing and install them on the new housings - without making any adjustment. The adjusters are just pressed in to the housing (this will make more sense when you are looking at the assembly), so you do not have to change the adjustment to replace the housings. This is assuming that you bought OEM (Ford) replacements. If not, your results may be different.
These are aftermarket 'diamond ones' These are the ones that look more similar to the later model mustang lights. Most likely the aim would have to be adjusted. Since the ones I bought already have the adjusting brackets on the back....how do I adjust them?
