What I am looking to do is use the stock polished crank and shot-pin the rods, go with srp high compression piston but the question is what is the limitation that I should go with on my nitrous-to-comression, if I want to squeeze around a 125-150hp shot ??? Any help would be appreciated

Nitrous and compression love eachother.

Big block wise it was difficult to keep the head from lifting with anything over 18-1. The 10 5/8 studs would streatch. I think the Yates boys found about the same limitations with the small blocks back in the unlimited NASCAR days. About 18-1 and some great cam events caused enough cylinder pressure to streatch HIGH QUALITY studs and blow head gaskets regularly.

That small a shot, I wouldnt fear getting DAMN close though.
I have a 16-1 engine and plan a 600 shot.

Well I was thinking of only going with 12:1 at the highest so you think that I will be okay?

Don't mind Kim. He lives in an alternate universe where they measure hp in 4 digit numbers. ;)
