has one that looks good. havent tried it though. i sorta built a cai but all i did was get rid of the filter box and with pvc and a rubber pipe connecter thing, go 90* into fender and then 90*more to face straight down to fit my huge 9" k&n filter. its not exactly as straight a flow path as is desirable, but it works ok
Here's some pics of mine. Pretty basic to make just get two 3" Fernco rubber boots and some PVC. Mine came out to 9.5". Then find a way to connect the MAF to the filter. I bought an adapter on ebay and bolted a 3.5" UPR filter to it.
here ya go...this is the website i used to make mine, very simple: http://94rioredcobra.homestead.com/CAI.html I did a straight shot into the fender, my whole filter is actually in the fender. What part of northern jersey are you in? I'm in sparta but moving to montague in 2 weeks(sussex county).
This is kind of related but I have attached my toro leaf blower onto my stang and when i turn it on it INSTANT boost. I have a switch wired to my car so when i'm at WOT i turn on the switch and man the car is fast.
Its not that hard just a few wires and its really cheap. I know this is kind of weird but I just got mine done and its really worth it. I will post pics soon.
