I found this working in a friend's elantra - it was under the t-stat in the t-stat gooseneck, attached to the cylinder head. It is about the size of three dimes stacked on one another, and has the same texture as the inside of the water jackets in the head. BTW.. I opened this car up looking for a bad head gasket, and have seen nothing bad yet until this. The symptoms were just lots of white smoke, and a bit of water leaving the tailpipe, and much more smoke and water at above 3k rpms. The gasket looked good, and neither head nor block is warped.
