The VR4 is a ball drive blower like the SN series Paxton sells,Just the VR4 was considered the race version back when it came out..
They are decent blowers,we have a customer with one on a fox body stang and with basic pieces "dart heads, small cam, edelbrock EFI intake, ect"and no port work on his 302 he has went [email protected],so they move some air..
Thanks for the help steve! The guy who owns the car told me that it went [email protected] (? mph)i just never heard of that blower at all, do they require the same maintence as the rest of the Paxton blowers or are they different?
I had a 91 with an sn-89 (ball bearing). The first blower lasted 90k before the first rebuild was required, the 2nd went out at 150k or so, 2nd time around had some time with a smaller pulley both under my ownership (about a month) and under the new owners care (prob 3-4 months).
