When reving rpm's take a while to drop as well-I've heard '99-04's are known for it-what's the deal ?

I was told by Lee Blankenship that its built into the tune to make driving the car easier (gear changes, etc.). I took him at his word. I know alot of people make "work arounds" for it by limiting the air passing thru the IAC valve one way or another (different solutions for different intake/IAC setups GT, Bullitt, etc).

If that's what Lee said then I believe it.
A friend of mine uses him exclusively (ive always had MS based ECU's on my SBF's), so when i got my Bullitt i called him and asked if he could remove the throttle hang in the tune... he said that he could, but that it was in there for a reason and explained it all to me... it makes sense now that i know and i guess for drivers that have trouble matching RPM's with shift points, it can be a help.
