So ive only had my 99 GT for about 2 weeks now and have fixed almost all the issues with it except one. When i hit the brakes the pedal feels like its grinding and pulsing then the ABS light comes on. Once the abs light comes on the Grinding and Pulsing is gone. Any ideas what could be causing it? Brake pads and Rotors are all in pretty dang good shape.

If the ABS light comes on, and the symptoms disappear, my first thought is that the ABS system is reducing brake pressure the problem wheel. Try to pin point the sound best you can, jack her up, take the wheel out, and give it a good once over. The other thought is you're just hearing the ABS working, which it shouldn't be. So perhaps a wheel sensor has too much iron shavings stuck to it?
