I don't care if I get a Z rated tire, I mainly want something cheap. I'd like some decent hooking tires, not interested in corner carving tires. Any suggestions?

I'm looking at some Bridgestone Potenza RE010's that are $88 a piece from www.tirerack.com
But do they suck? I've heard the Potenza's are good....but $88 a piece?

Do these Kumho's ride decent? Not too much noise? Hook decent? I hate to sound like an old man, but I want this 95 to stay a nice, quite, tight cruiser. My old 89 fox will be the loud, obnoxious, ruff riding, hard camming street/strip car ;)
I just gotta say, this 95 is hella tight for having 134,000 miles. Looks like these SN95's are better built than the foxes :)

Well they sound like winners then. Now the big question....to fit a 275/40 on my 17 X 8 99 Cobra rims, or to to just go with the 245/45.....hhhmmmm......

Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's.

Go with the Kumho's. I just got a set and they were better than my Nitto 505's....wait a minute, anything is better than the 505's.:p Seriously though, go with the Kumho's. They are about $100 a tire and the performance is really great.

I have seen 275's on 17X8's and they looked like they fit fine. I have them on my 17X9's and they ride, handle great. I have some pics iof them in a link in my sig. Tire rack has the 245's for $100 and the 275's for $113. Best deal I've found.
