Can anyone identify why this driver's fender VIN sticker looks like this? Attached are the passenger vin sticker, and then the driver's side sticker which looks totally different (and partially obscured by the rubber bumper. I'm guessing maybe the "R" along with the Ford markings means it's a genuine Ford replacement fender, thus no VIN?

Correct....my biggest thing with researching this was trying to determine if this is truly an accident-free, all-original-paint vehicle (as i'm being told). And if the "R" truly means a Ford replacement fender, then I think this would be pretty much unlikely for either case to be true. And I figured the overspray was pretty much a dead giveaway.

Yeah it's not, its has been painted. Welcome to fox bodies, the markets full of Flippers lieing their asses off since they went up in prices... Invest in a paint gauge, if you want a quick way to spot paint work.
