With that kind of budget i would be into a better block. Its a catch 22.Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying don't to it if you've got your heart set on it. But it's not going to prevent the block from cracking if it decides to crack. That seems to be a crapshoot if it will or won't.
I'm still of the opinion that internally balancing the crank is the best thing you can do for a factory block, even if it's crazy expensive.
