I can tell you, from what i've seen with a cracked SVO head on a 98GT that doing compression tests, leakdown tests, and pressurizing the cooling system didn't show any signs of problems. The only sign that we say was that in times of higher boost levels the overflow tank was puking coolant.
Your results with those tests may vary, so try them first.
Thanks for the input. I'm glad at least someone responded. I don't run high boost, just 6# from the stock headed setup. I do have better heads and headwork. Just for anyones reference, I talked to my speedshop guys today and they seem to think that the idiot tuner that installed the headstuds did not properly seal them before going back into the block. I should've done it my damn self. I got some ceramic block sealer and am going to try that. I hope it works. Thanks again, R
