Used to be able to buy headers and oil pans & oil pump pickup screens for those swaps in the early days. Everything else was pretty much the same as the Windsor family as far as bellhousings, motor mounts etc. Now a days I don't think much is available to make it easy.

So the people who attempted to put the 351c in the fox body mustangs. How did it go?
Do you have any pictures of the Mustang you're planning on putting the 351c in?

oil pan----easy
headers----may have to get a set built... every chassis builder out there has a header guy, so get with one.. install engine and deliver it to their shop.. in about a week they will have your headers ready...
mounts--- stock
tranny---- will bolt up no problem..

If I did not already have a Dart based supercharged assembly in my car, I would definitely do a 351C in my Fox. I have one sitting in the corner of my garage, just kicking it in the corner, waiting for a project to be used in. After I injected and tuned the 400 in my '79 Bronco, I just know that a 351C with prepped 4V heads and injection would be an absolutely riot to drive in a Fox or any Mustang, for that matter.

Regarding the Clevor versus a straight up Cleveland, is there any benefit to the 2.75" main journal on the Cleveland? As opposed to the larger 3.0" main journal on the Windsor.

Went well. Talk to Bob at D&D Automotive Specialties, he’s a wealth of knowledge on Cleveland stuff. I built a 393C with his assistance and did the swap. He sells short tubes and I believe Heddman makes long tubes for the swap. Canton makes a pan. Some of the March Performance Windsor stuff can be fabricated to work. I initially did it with a C6 but have since swapped to a C4.
