All the accesories & the upper intake are off the car, all i need to know is how to bolt the hoist up to the engine so i can lift it out. Tranny and radiator are all out, i'm just trying to figure out if i need a lift plate & what kind or how i should go about doing this. I know summit carries EFI plates but i plan on doing this tommorow so i really dont have time to order one.

My car has engine lifting brackets bolted to the number 4 (passenger rear of engine) and number 5 (driver's front) exhaust manifolds. They work quite well. I guess those are missing on yours?

I normally use the bolt holes in the ends of the heads. Works great. On the last go around I bought an engien tilter, 4 chains to each corner and a leveling set-up to ease installation/removal.

I try to get a heavy chain to the heads though.
