I just fired up my 410w and it seems as though everything is working fine, however, I pulled the distributor after letting it run for about a minute and the Milodon oil pump drive shaft is stuck in the bottom of the dist. and there are fresh metal shavings on the dist. gear!
I've heard of people having to shave ARP shafts for their 351w, is this what I need to do with my Milodon shaft? If so, how much should be taken off of what end?
Any ideas what the metal shavings could be from, I'm using the gear that came on my MSD Pro Billet dist. and the cam is a Comp Cams XE284h(hydraulic flat tappet). Those gears should be fine shouldn't they?
Please help!
