Hey guys,
So one of my a9l's is giving me an issue. I tried my other and the car runs great, so I know it's an issue within this specific computer. I've replaced the caps and looked for broken traces...meticulously. Continuity is good between pins 40, 46, and 60; so is resistance, less than an ohm. Any ideas where to look next? I haven't driven it with the MAF unplugged but it does idle and rev better with it unplugged, actually dies when given gas with maf plugged in but not with it unplugged. But like I said, the car runs fine with a different computer. For the sake of being cheap and the enjoyment of fixing things, I'd like to fix this one if anyone thinks it's possible.

Thanks in advance.

Don't have the time to search but there was just a great thread on this. The guy went through a boat load of testing, replaced this, that and all the capacitors. He still wound up having a bad ECU. Stop being cheap or lose the rest of your hair lol, especially since you tried a known good unit and it worked. All these parts are getting old and some can not be resurrected, just saying. Good luck.

Definitely not the answer I was hoping for, but definitely the answer I needed to hear. Deep down I kinda had an idea it wasn't fixable and was just straight up dead. Thanks for the input/advice!
