I have been out of the mustang world for awhile and would like to jump back in by converting my 88GT to mass air.

How can i make sure I am buying an ECU computer that is mass air and for a stock 5 speed?

Thank you in advance.

A9m is a mass air, t5, mustang ecu as well. It was specific to convertibles for some reason. Supposedly the main difference in the factory mustang, 5spd, mass air ecu's is the timing curve.

Won't matter much if you plan on tuning it.
