the ports on the gaskets that come with the super comps aren't big enough... is there an easy way to trim the gaskets for the right port size?

thanks

If they are paper or fiber, then a razor blade will do it, or bolt em to your headers and use something like a dremel or rot-zip with the cutting bits (the spiral ones).

If your gaskets are not big enough, make sure your headers are big enough....may need to get a high speed grinder and taper the openings a little in the headers as well...

Are you using the 6223 or similar header? I've run into the same problem. After I ported the adapter plates the gaskets are too small. I was planning on using an exacto knife to cut them out but I haven't tried yet.

6223's or 6227's or something like that... i can't remember the part number. it's the 1 3/4" super comps. yeah the first set of gaskets i used an exacto knife but it was a PITA. i was hoping there is an easier way to trim them. :(
