DTC P0315 2011 GT --How to remove ?
The car is running fine--no engine light.

I was going through Torque Lite and noticed that I had a permanent DTC P0315. Crankshaft Position Relearn. I tried to retire it--it can't be removed.

No modifications and only 13k miles.

How do I remove it?

Ford's Customer Satisfaction Program 17N01--extends coverage until 2027
I learned that there is a Ford Customer Satisfaction Program 17n01 that extends warranty coverage for DTC permanent code P0315 for 2011-14 Mustangs until May 31 2027.

But only for the State of California owners. California told Ford that they will fail cars that have this DTC P0315 when the car are scanned and tested for emissions. But it is unclean if other State owners will also be covered. I contacted Ford and told them that other States that do I/W240 dyno test and do scanning of the ECM will probably also fail. They told me that apparently only owners in California are now covered for this DTC until 2027.

@phoneman91 Need to have the KAM reset, the neutral profile relearn and a parameter reset. When this is done, they can check for any updates to the PCM. That should take care of the issue.

My friend kindly confirm how to KAM reset, and how to solve this issue , my car only 13000 kms driven
