Before I bought my supercharged mustang the previous owner sent me a picture of it with this blue thing underneath the hood, it’s not there anymore . Does anybody know what that contraption is?

FMU - Fuel Management Unit

Raises fuel pressure based on boost pressure at a higher rate than stock regulator.

It's a 'band-aid' for too small injectors.

Makes sense because the car has 550cc injectors now. So there’s no purpose for me needing it.

This, you've got two different things you've displayed.

Clarification, in both pictures, the FMU is circled.
In the 2nd picture, the catch can is blue assembly mounted to firewall (Not circled).
