This would be for a NA street going 347. Edelbrock heads, RPM II intake, small hydraulic roller. Prob. not a necessity, but I'm thinking it'd be real nice, especially the idle/extra power. Anyone with experience?
Any engine management is only as good as the tuner tuning it. That being said if you have a great tuner that is familier with that system many benefits can be had. I have a DFI laying around (it is an older version), but now I use FAST (Formerly Speedpro) with wideband which I like better. I have heard the new DFI is pretty nice though.
You'd probably be better off both ease and money wise to do a tweecer or eectuner instead. The stand alones are speed density so you have tons of tables to get right. If you don't have alocal tuner with Knowhow and a dyno it's gonna take some time to get what you already have and then more time to get better.
