The pilot bearing on my 92' GT took a **** and now I can't get it out. The center of the bearing is pushed back into the crank causing the conventional method of removing the bearing to fail. Does anyone know any other methods on how to remove the bearing? Thanks for any help....

can you find a wooden dowel to fit inside whats left of the bearing?if so,get a bar of soap.shred the soap into small pieces.then pac the hole full, take the dowel place into hole, hit with hammer.repeat process till bearing comes out.
p.s if a socket fit you can use that insted
