We here at corral are a very community based mustang website. We have connections here that blow my mind. At any rate. It has come to my attention that we have the means to run a limited, maybe new line, of 1993 cobra rims that are 5-LUG!!!!!!

The requirements are the following:
1. We have to secure an order of 20 sets of rims, to make this first run. (I am not naming names as to who where etc., but it can and will be done. I have taken it upon myself, to poll the sales and to try to complete this group order.)
2. Please reply to this ad and in your post, number your self accordingly so that our member can see how many sets we have to go to get the ball rolling.
3. On a poll of 20 or more sets we will majority rule the dimensions to the winners.

Our limited run will resemble 93fiveoh's prototype rims.
THANKS FOR THE PICS 93FIVEOH!!

Centerbore HAS to be 2.780", nothing else. That is the centerbore of all the 94-04 OEM wheels.
1.16" offset (approx 29.5mm)
This looks like the sizes we want. I am going on you knowledge here. As far as the deposit, we are so close to 30 sets that the deposit might be small. At any rate, I will pm him this info and ask what to do next. I am ready to do this deal, I hope everyone here is too. Once I post the info, we need to all respond back to this forum with the amount/date/method we paid. That way we all are covered here. Remember. ~$500 a set, so the deposit might be close to if not less then that. So, at any rate, use plastic, and don't be a jerk.

Again, these will be a satin finish, anyone who wants chrome will have to do it on there own, satin finish....

Just pm'd him.I will post progress asap.

Thanks Alexandros,

Keep us posted on when and where to send the deposit.

:)
Just one size, and we all have to agree. No not too late to get in. I will add you to the list.

Thanks Alex. I'm in. I was hoping for chrome finish, but I'm most likely going to be sending them off to get widened anyways.

ready and waiting...
I am ready!!! Will the center caps be included?
I joined this forum to get in on this deal. When the repro '93 Cobra wheels came out, I called Wheel Replicas in Texas, and after a few calls, I was able to speak to the owner. He told me the same thing then, at least 30 sets, paid for, before they could change the center cast and do a five lug version.

My '93 Cobra has the Motorsport M-2300K kit, has for ten years now, and runs the old Motorsport '95 Cobra Rs with the Fox-specific 6.42" BS. I want to go back to a stock look, I don't want to convert my '94-'95 Cobra-spec brakes to four lug, so I bought a set of the 4 lug '93 Cobra replicas and took one to a machinist to get an idea of what it would take to convert them to five lug. Answer: the welding heat to plug the existing holes would soften the centers and possibly make them dangerous, so it really wasn't an option. So there they sit still new in the boxes, I'll probably sell them. It never occurred to me to start off a group buy on this or another forum, but I'm glad someone thought of it.

As mentioned, my car has the Motorsport Cobra brake kit, but the longer SN-95 rear axles have always bothered me and I am planning to swap them for stock-length Fox five lug axles, and make or buy a set of relocator brackets for the calipers. So I'm definitely in, for a Fox with SN-95 front and stock rear track width, in the stock silver finish. I'll drop a deposit any time we need to.

send me more details once they are in production too.
I want whatever works on a stock rear track, and 94-95 spindles...
This is what I need FOX rear width and SN95 fronts on Fox A-Arms.

Thanks,
Matt
Hate to do this, but I'm going to have to withdraw my committment - unforseen expenses have occurred and I simply can't spare the coin right now. And this is killing me, considering how long I have wanted a set of them... :pain:

I will, however, keep watch on the thread, who knows, things might turn around for me on my end in time to get in on the deal.

me too......
Alexandros,

Are you increasing the order with our source guy? because it looks like there are a few more orders trickling in here. Hopefully, the 30 sets will cover us. It doesn't look like Wheel Replicas is going to have to sit on any.

-Mike S.
So will these wheels fit the Motorsport M-2300K kit?

Thanks

From what I gather so far,

Front: Yes

Rear: Will stick out too much, so you will have to switch to Fox-length five lug axles (Ranger/Aerostar/Bronco II, or aftermarket) and get a set of available relocator brackets to move the calipers in, then they will work all around. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi,

On the Mustang the 70.64 centerbore can be done. Be aware though that we have seen Mustangs come through with the tolerances not as precise, thus that is why many replicas do 70.8mm. We can do 70.64, but if someone has one that is 70.7 then it could be difficult to install.

I would check and make sure everyone is signed off on the offset, size and centerbore.

Alexandros - you mail box is full.
Jeff
jeffo, I'm sure the 70.8mm centerbore will be fine.

Whatever you guys use for your Bullitt, 03 Cobra, FR500 replica wheels is what we would need on the 93 Cobra 5-lug replicas. -Thanks
Jeffo, I just cleared out my inbox. Sorry I have been busy, I was just assigned to the 3rd District Station House in DC from the academy. At any rate, I try to read through all the threads, and this is what list I can come up with.

Again, this is a pre-order list, not a when they come to market I might buy a set list. Again, serious, if you would like to buy a set, they will be ~$500. If you would like to buy a set it will be ~$500. If you want to be added to the pre-order list, say so, do not BS me, for I will glance right over your posts.

Last time I am going to say this. SERIOUS PREORDER LIST!!!
