We here at corral are a very community based mustang website. We have connections here that blow my mind. At any rate. It has come to my attention that we have the means to run a limited, maybe new line, of 1993 cobra rims that are 5-LUG!!!!!!

The requirements are the following:
1. We have to secure an order of 20 sets of rims, to make this first run. (I am not naming names as to who where etc., but it can and will be done. I have taken it upon myself, to poll the sales and to try to complete this group order.)
2. Please reply to this ad and in your post, number your self accordingly so that our member can see how many sets we have to go to get the ball rolling.
3. On a poll of 20 or more sets we will majority rule the dimensions to the winners.

Our limited run will resemble 93fiveoh's prototype rims.
THANKS FOR THE PICS 93FIVEOH!!

sinhumane I do not think they will work unless you upgrade to gt/cobra stuff. The T-bird stuff has a different lug pattern.

And to answer the question. These rims will be roughly 5.75" bs, much like the 99 cobra rims, except you will have another .5" on the other side of the rim. A 255 series tire will work good.

We need 20 sets preorder to get the first run made, then we will go from there. But again, for gt/cobra brakes, 5-lug 1993 cobra rims, 17x8.5" wheel with a +26mm offset, and 5.72" backpacing.

We are half the way there everyone. We will work out the details when we get to 20. I posted links on racingjunk.com, stangnet.com, mustangworks.com, I did not do corral yet, doing it now.

What type of price are these wheels going to be? I don't see it anywhere? I am interested depending on the price.

Then if we were to do 5 lug it would require 60 pieces of each finish (ie 120 wheels as we have lefts and rights). I would do this, but do not desire to stock them as there is not a "high" demand for them.

I do not mind doing it, but things to consider -- even if we sell 20 sets, that means I am sitting on 10 sets in my warehouse - which is more than the profit from the 20 sets. If it is cost effective then we could look at it.
The way I read it from Jeffo, the minimum to be sold would be 30 sets.
If I can run 94/95 spindles (for 13" brakes) and whatever brackets necessary in the rear to keep my rear discs (I have a '93 Cobra), then I'd love to get a set in 5-lug.
im in for a set of chrome. how much you think???
I guess in the +26mm offset, and 5.72" backpacing. What ever will work on 94-95 spindle and fox length axles.
I'll take a set like this....any idea on pricing?
runin1320 makes #13.
Seven more sets.

Interested in how the wheel situation is going? What is the price per wheel going to be?? And this is the correct offset for a fox with SN95 brakes up front and rear with fox track in the rear? Interested. Any info would be great. Thanks.

Price has yet to be determined. We will know when we get at least 20 sets preordered. Yes, they will work with your set up, that is the same set-up I have with a DTS 9" rear. They are much like the 99 cobra's except there will be another 1/2" of rim to the outside of the rim. Perfect for 94/95 spindles and stock fox track.

But how would they fit if your a SN rearend? because i'm in the middle of building a cobra clone an would die to have a set to run on the car when finished.
I would consider pre-ordering if I knew the price and approx delivery date. I would think that the MFGR would have an idea of what he needs to charge for these at a minimum of 30 sets to be made.
I assume pricing would be similar to the current replicas. $476/set Silver, and $676/set Chrome. http://www.wheelreplicas.com/93Cobrawheels.html
Price would be about $35 higher than on the site as it would cover tooling modifications to the centercore of the mold.
As for the offset and clearance. To my understanding the SN95 brakes up front are going to push your track out another .75".

They will fit much like the 17x9 6"bs R's would. But you would have .25" less rim to the outside of the wheel.
When you say it will push the fronts out .75" more. Do you mean more than a standard fox body? I have a 93 Cobra with SN95 Cobra brakes up front and back. Right now the car has 94 Tri-bars on it.
From stock, the 94/95 spindles push the front wheel out 1/2" 96+ spindles push the wheel out 3/4" UPR/most k-member combo's, push the rim out another 1/2" or so to get the camber increased.
Depending on price I might be interested. I would want 17x9 5.95 front BS and 6.42 rear BS. 95 front spindles and Sn-95 length rear axles.
These would look wild in a bright machine finish 17". I'd definitely consider getting them for my fox if they were 17x9 and 17x10.5.

Can someone photoshop some deep dish 93 cobra wheels???:leghump:
Hi,
we can only do the 8.5 wide as it would be a new mold.
Ok
Price would be about $35 higher than on the site as it would cover tooling modifications to the centercore of the mold.
