We here at corral are a very community based mustang website. We have connections here that blow my mind. At any rate. It has come to my attention that we have the means to run a limited, maybe new line, of 1993 cobra rims that are 5-LUG!!!!!!

The requirements are the following:
1. We have to secure an order of 20 sets of rims, to make this first run. (I am not naming names as to who where etc., but it can and will be done. I have taken it upon myself, to poll the sales and to try to complete this group order.)
2. Please reply to this ad and in your post, number your self accordingly so that our member can see how many sets we have to go to get the ball rolling.
3. On a poll of 20 or more sets we will majority rule the dimensions to the winners.

Our limited run will resemble 93fiveoh's prototype rims.
THANKS FOR THE PICS 93FIVEOH!!

Woo-hoo...Thanks a bunch Jeff! We appreciate you doing this for us. :)
Maybe you mis-understood the machinist. The Chinese New Year for 2007 was Feb 18. The Chinese New Year for 2008 is Feb 7th. There are no national holidays from now until Feb 08. I just returned from our manufacturing facility in China and am very aware of all of the Chinese holidays and how they affect production.

Maybe the machinist meant to say that orders must be in by Dec 7th to be cosidered for production before the Chinese New Year. My company always makes sure that our customers know how the holidays (Chinese & US) will affect production of their parts.

I just wish the forms would be here so we can get this moving forward as it seems to have stalled.

YES PLEASE!
????????????????????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just called him. If what he says is right, he put in the order, and next he has to make us all pay for it.
Alex
Well if he put in the order, what is the ETA for the finished product?

That would be awesome! Keep us posted!

Thanks
I'm stoked! And these days, I'm hard to stoke.

-MJS (currently stoked)
I left him a message last night around 5pm. I told him that today was the 7th, and that he had to have his next order in by then. I also told him that everyone wanted to know what the status was and that we were all looking for the order form. I also told him when he gets time to post the order from on here.

Again, it is only a deposit, until the wheels are ready and you can pay with c/c or paypal. So whenever he posts it we are up.

MJS, remember that we are splitting a set so your deposit wil reflect 2.5 orders and mine will reflect 1.5 orders. I think I am going to widen mine to 9.5 in the front and 10 in the rear, anyone know of a cheap place to do this, or where I can find longer studs for the 95 spindles, prefereably 1" longer, I already have the longer studs on the 9" but I need them for the front.

Alex,

Here is the only place that I've heard of anyone using for wheel widening http://www.weldcraftwheels.com/Wide.htm He is pretty expensive though. I believe that the last time I asked about it, it was going to be $175 per wheel (for these style and 17") to get widened or narrowed, then shipping on top of that. I will try to contact him and see if he would get us a discount to do more than one set and then we can see how many might be interested. We could have Jeff ship them straight to him, then have him ship them to us to save on the shipping a little. That would need to be another thread. I'll let you know what he says.

Anyone else know of anyone else that does this?
let's do it.

I just talked to Jeffo and he said that he will post the order forms soon. Good to go.
Alex
how much is the deposit going to be? and what is the final price on the rims?
I talked to James at Weldcraft about widening and narrowing the rims and he said that he doesn't offer group discounts due to the fact it is all labor which makes sense.

The prices to widen the wheels to 9.5-10.5 or so would be $175 per rim not including shipping. It would be the name price to narrow them to about 5-6 wide.
I will call Jeffo tomorrow. He is no doubt busy.

Wheels

Hi,
I have put the order in at the factory.

The two sets of chrome can not be done as it does not meet the minimum quantity needed for casting, so I moved them over to silver.

If all is well at the factory they should ship early Feb, which means to port in CA late Feb and to us early March.

I will post the form shortly for all to fill out.

I am sorry I have not chimmed in on this as I have been extremely busy as I am an employee short -- lol if you know anyone needing possibly part time work in Houston/katy let me know!

17x8.5, +29.5mm offset, 5x4.5, silver, 70.8cb

thanks,
Jeff

What is the min order for chrome? On our list there are 4 sets not 2. Peace!!!
chrome

Hi,
The factory requires a Min. of 48 pieces for each size and finish -- so chrome was not even close.
Can I get in on this? which size fits the real 93 cobra?
man surprised there wouldn't be more ppl wanting chrome than silver
wheels

Hi,
Sorry we have to just do the silver, not enough people for chrome.
