I am putting in the t5 on saturday, and was wondering if I need a new crossmember? I have the single hump one, and it works for my c4, but will it still work with the t5? if I need a new one, what car do i get it out of? Help!!!! I hope I do not need one. Is it possible, to just drill a ho,e in the crossmember for the bolts if they dont line up? ADam

I am not sure if the T5 and C4 have the same mounting point on the trans xmember. I looked in the Motorsport catalog and unfortunately the 79-81 Mustangs have a 2 1/4" dimension between the mounting brackets while the 82 and up crossmember is 4 1/2". Thus the later crossmembers will not fit in your 80. I remember another member said he welded the brackets on from a later model to get the double hump xmebmer. Good luck. Tom
