My friend has a '89 E-350 with a 351W in it. Years ago it kept burning up EEC's for some reason, so his Dad had a 2 barrel carb thrown on it.

The mechanic who did it obviously didn't know what he was doing. All the EFI stuff is still hanging on top of the motor, and most importantly it still has the EFI ignition on it -- giving the van NO timing advance thru RPM's.

Does anyone have any info they can give me on how to change his van from the EFI ignition to Duraspark? I know I'll need a new distributor and Duraspark box, but that's the easy part...

You may have messed up in typing the URL; it keeps coming up as "not available." Either that or the site doesn't exist anymore :(
