Prior to blowing one of my FelPro 1011-2 head gaskets, i had compression of about 160 on all cylinders. The gasket blew on the #4 cylinder and coolant was getting into the cylinder giving off a ton of white smoke. I drove it for about 10 minutes like this as the temp was getting high, but not overheating. After replacing with the 8548, my compression is down to about 130 on all cylinders. Is this normal? Thanks

The 8548's are .050 thick and the ones you took off are .041 or .039 thick. So yes it will drop. As long as you did both sides, you should be in good shape.
