Since the temperature has dropped my car has been weird when I start it up. It will crank up kinda slow and weak then when it cranks it will start turning around 300-400 rpm. It will be like this for a few seconds then raise up to 1100rpm. Then all is fine. I figured the weak crank was due to the battery. But then the low rpm's I figured was the high octane combined with the higher compression since the headswap. Does this sound right or is something bigger and potentially more of a problem causing this?

The IAC Idle air controller might have to be adjusted. My car was starting bad when the engine was warm and ford adjusted it and it got better. Still not perfect, but liveable.
