alright, i just got a code scanner. But to run codes does my timing need to be set back to 10 or whatever stock is??? any other tips on running codes, it seems like it'll be a little difficult/monotonous to read the beeps.
The flashes/beeps are a pain, but I don't think you'll have to reset your timing just to check your codes. If you have some you might want to reset the timing and the codes, run it and recheck the codes.
Don't worry about the timing. It has no effect on the codes. When I read the codes I just have a piece of paper handy and make a hash mark for each beep and put each group of 3 sets on a different line then go back and figure it out later.
