I changed my brake pads on my 95 Cobra the other day, after the change I keep hearding this rattling sound, after taking the wheels off about three times I realized that the noise was coming from the new brake pads. Seems that the caliper assys can be thrusted about 1/8 inch in each direction with very little hand pressure applied.

I tried to find the old pads and check to see if I missed something (little some small clips attached to the old backingplates) but the trash man got there first..

Heres the question: are there suppose to be those little clips that go onto the new pad backing plates that should have be transferred from the old pads or do I have some defective replacement pads......If as I suspect I need the clips where can I find some????

Second question I would like to change my cam shaft for a little more power (I plan to add nitrous in the near future) would welcome recommendations

txs in advance

Transfer the clips and apply some Permatex Disc Brake Quiet to the
back of the pads.
