Could a new driveshaft and/or gears cause my clutch to feel mushy? My transmission is clunking alot more also. Any input would be great! thanks

no, a new drive shaft and gears wouldn't cause your clutch pedal to feel mushy.

the clunking might be related to the gear swap.

What did you do since it felt mushy? Can you be more precise?
Is there too much play in the Pedal? Any resistance? Maybe the clutch cable needs adjusting. Pull up on the Clutch Pedal until you hear a clicking or racheting sound. that is the Quadrant taking the slack up in the cable. Then push down on the clutch and it should adjust itself... If that doesn't work it could be a worn out clutch.. Could be the Pressure plate going out or the Throwout bearing.......

Good Luck
